Seattle Day 19

Radiation Day 13
Today was a better wake up than the previous four days but still not the best. Aidan was a bit upset today because they took George (his catheter) out today because of the three day weekend. We had to convince him that George would be back on Tuesday and that he did not need to worry about him. After radiation we grabbed a bite to eat. When we were leaving we received a surprise phone call from my cousin Kim and my Aunt Kris. They were in town and asked if the could drop by and say hi on their way through. It was so nice to see them both, since the last time I saw them was at the Badger fundraiser and the last time the boys saw them was the day we left for Seattle. Sadly, they were not able to stay long, but still we were able to have a little visit and show them around the Ronald McDonald house.
As Aunt Kris and Kim were leaving Mike's brother and family from Phoneix, Anthony, Angela and the kids arrived. They hung out with us at the house for about two hours before they headed up to Mom and Dad Zauggs. They took Sage with them so he could stay the night and play with the boys. We figured Aidan would be upset, however it took him about three hours to even notice that Sage was not around.
Today we received another package of cards from the Desert Hill's Middle School kids. We hung them all up on our closet doors so Aidan can look at them whenever he wants. Once again we were so touched by what all the kids had to say. And again, I cried. I took a picture so everyone can see what the kids have done. Thank you!!!
Today we received news that Area Codes Cellular in Kennewick is planning a big fundraiser for Aidan next weekend. We were so surprised and humbled to know that once again a complete stranger is doing something so amazing for our little man.
Aidan also received a surprise today when we took him to meet Nanni and Papa at University Volkswagen. Nanni's transmission went out on her old car and she decided that she would buy something that would make Aidan very happy. A red convertible Herbie!! His face was priceless (I wish I would have caught it on camera.)
Health wise things were really good today. Aidan's drooling has practically gone away, the only time we see it now is when he is very tired. His eyes don't do that funny thing where they move separately from each other much now (those that have seen this know what I am talking about.) And his walking seems to be increasingly better. Of course we are thrilled and know exactly why these goods things keep happening. The Lord has truly blessed Aidan and our family and each of you through your prayers have helped get us here.
