Seattle Day 20

Saturday
Aidan slept in today until 9:30! Of course we were thrilled. Caffeine and adrenaline are no longer working for me. I felt so exhausted today. Aidan has his first true shower in three weeks this morning. Afterwords he informed us that he liked not having George in and that he did not want him back. We had to explain that if George did not get put back in on Tuesday that he would have to have gas and pokes. Aidan agreed that it would be much better to get George back than to have either of those.
After breakfast Mom, Dad, Mike, Aidan and myself headed over to Toys R Us. Dad had promised that he would take Aidan there when he got into town and as most of you know, Aidan has a really good memory. First thing when he saw Papa he reminded him of his promise. Before we even arrived Aidan knew what he wanted "A Batman Costume." True to his word that is what he picked out. After picking out his gift he then headed over with Mike to pick out some Yu-Gi-Oh cards for brother.
By the time we were done with Toys R Us it was after two and Aidan was getting pretty tired, We were originally going to go to a 2:40 movie with the rest of the Zaugg family however we felt Aidan was a bit too worn out so Mike headed to the movie to meet up with his family. Mom, Dad, Aidan and myself headed back to the RMH. Papa and him rode in the back seat with the top down on Herbie back to the room and they kept yelling out "Hot Dog" because it was really cool to be in the convertable VW.
Once there Papa and Aidan decided to lay down and watch a movie. Of course, Papa fell asleep but Aidan stayed wide awake.
We ended up spending the whole day hanging out in the room until we met Mike and Sage for dinner and then back to the room. Aidan took another shower and then headed to bed. Sometimes it is hard but we truly see a difference in Aidan's symptoms when we take it easy with him. It is so hard to do that though when there always is either something we have to do or somewhere or someone we want to see.
