Seattle Day 21
May 28, 2006
Sunday
Today we all really slept in. We did not wake up until around 10:00, Aidan slept until 10:20. He really needed the sleep. By the time we all were up, dressed, and ready it was almost 1:00 and we were supposed to have lunch up at Mom and Dad Zaugg's at 1:00. Because of this, we decided to just head on up to Everett although Mom and Dad Hammack decided to hang back at the room. Dad had a car race he wanted to watch and Mom wanted to work on the website.
We had a great time at Mom and Dad Zaugg's. We had lunch, thank you Angela, and then played a couple of board games. All the while the kids ran around playing or watching movies. It was great to have all the Grandkids there at the same time. They are such a hoot. The only bad part was that it was pouring down rain the entire time so the kids had to stay in the house which seriously bummed them out. Especially Sage, and he was more than happy to let us know how very unhappy this made him. I tell you, if ten is any indication of what the teen years are going to be like, we are in trouble :)
After some family pictures around seven, we headed back towards the RMH. First we met Mom and Dad Hammack for some dinner. While there you could see that the day had worn on Aidan. He was very tired and kept laying on the bench seat at Denny's. The good thing was that aside from a bit more stumbling, he still was doing really well. We got him back to bed as soon as we could. He had to take another shower you see which was then followed by a round of Toys R Us and Candy Store stories between him and Papa, then finally, sleep.
So, good night and thank you to all of our amazing Angels! We feel your love and prayers and it humbles us to know that we are so loved and cared for. Remember always that just as you pray for us, we pray for you and your health and well being.
