Seattle Day 24
Radiation Day 15
May 31, 2006
Today is the half way point!
Today was Gabriel's last day of radiation! We are so happy and excited for him, Debbie, and Barry. We know their journey is not yet over but they have reached the completion of a very important step in the process and we can not be more thrilled. We ask that you all please include Gabriel in your prayers he also is a very special boy who needs to be rid of cancer.
We had a very laid back uneventful day today. And that is a very good thing. We had radiation, then off to Target to pick up some house supplies, then back to the house to do laundry and clean. Again tonight dinner was provided. We had BBQ Ribs and Chicken, three choices of mashed potatoes, salad, corn on the cob, grilled baby bell peppers and asparagus. To top it off we had brownies with vanilla ice cream. And yes, it was just as good as it sounds.
After dinner we came upstairs and worked on some more laundry and watched Deal or No Deal. In between the boys wrestled, that is what the picture is from. Right now we are waiting for Mom, Dad, and Sage to arrive. They came up early this week so Mom and Dad could be with us at our appointment with the Doctor tomorrow. Dad has a few things he wants to ask about.
Just a couple of important bits of information:
Many thanks to the salesman at University Volkswagen who donated his commission on Mom's car to the Ronald McDonald House in Aidan's name. This was such a wonderful contribution to make to a place that so deserves and needs it. Thank You!
Don't forget that the Area Codes fund raiser is this Saturday and they are in need of volunteers. If you can help, please email me and I will get you the phone number to contact. Thank you to Steve for wanting to help our little boy and by doing so much for someone you do not even know. Your kindness has touched us.
To all of our Angels, miracles are happening everyday. Know that you make a difference in our lives by every little thing that you do. We want you to know that we cherish each of you and pray for you health and wellbeing everyday. With out your love, support, good thoughts and most importantly, your prayers we would not be in the good place that we are. Please keep the prayers coming because Aidan still has a long battle ahead of him. Also, please include Sage in your prayers. He is very brave but he is still just a ten year old little boy who has a lot on his plate and is without his parents most of the time and is very scared for his little brother that he loves so deeply.
With Love,
Tanya

Aidan - You are looking sooooo good in that picture with your daddy! It's great to see your smile. We keep praying for you.
