Seattle Day 37

Radiation Day 24

This morning was another hard morning.  We all had a very difficult time waking up  to get ready to go to radiation.  We were good little troops though and got up and got ready and we even made it to radiation on time.
Aidan had a good surprise at radiation today, Dr. Chen was his anesthesiologist today.  Aidan was very excited.  Dr. Chen is his favorite person, in fact, yesterday when Dr. Katie Larkin was there he just kept asking for Dr. Chen.  Katie is so great that I felt bad when Aidan didn't want to hardly talk to her.
Once again Aidan slept forever!  Today it was for two hours and forty minutes.  He likes his sleep these days, the only problem is that we have Sage now and he gets very bored.
After radiation we all grabbed a bite to eat in the cafeteria and then headed back to the house for a bit of a rest before the next appointment.  Today our appointment was in the Physical Therapy department for an evaluation.  All three of the boys liked it in there with all of there toys, exercise equipment, and athletic equipment.  They thought they were in Disneyland.  It was determined that Aidan will go to physical therapy once a week and that he will attend a yoga class here on Wednesday evenings once a week.  Hopefully this will help him to gain his strength back in his left side.  As always, Aidan loves being the center of attention and having everyone paying attention to him.
After our appointment we headed up to Everett to see Mike's parents and have dinner.  We loved being able to sit down with our family and have a home cooked dinner.  After dinner the boys of course decided to go outside and play baseball with Papa Zaugg and Daddy.  Meanwhile I got to visit with Emily as we watched the boys play.  It is so great to see Aidan doing so well when they told us how bad it was going to be.  And even though we know there will be good and bad days it is the best feeling to know that the Lord is looking out for him and healed him.
After dinner we all enjoyed a yummy bowl of ice cream and the kids played a game of Go Fish with Grammy.  Then we all were able to spend so time together just visiting and catching up on the events in our lives.  One of the best parts was to see how well Emily looked and to find out that her leg is healing well.
At about eight something it was time to round up the troops and get things ready to head out on your journey back to the house.
Another beautiful day spent with family and blessed by Aidan's energy.  Thank you everyone for all of your love and prayers you send our way.

For a smile, some of Aidan's quotes

"Your killing me!"  This was said when we did not take the route to the U that he wanted us to
"I can't get two words out of you." Said to his dad while they were quietly watching the lion at the Zoo
"Stop talking or I will put this banana in your mouth." Said to his dad when he was talking during a part in a movie Aidan likes
"When I get big I am going to buy Pirate Booty for everybody in the city and I am going to have all of the money in the city."  Said when we told him we could not buy more than the five bags of Pirate Booty we already had in the cart even though he wanted to buy more for everyone he knew.

    Hey Zauggs,
There is not a day that goes by that I am not thinking of you all and praying for Aidan.

    Take care,
