Return to Seattle Tommorrow - July 12, 2006 - Updated

Tanya, Mike and the kids will return to Seattle tomorrow.  Tanya is feeling much better, and it is good timing because Aidan has doctor appointments both Thursday & Friday.  Thursday appointment is with the Physical Therapist, and Friday’s appointment is
with his oncologist Dr. Geyer.  Cath & I plan on being there for Aidan’s Friday appointment.  There are a couple questions we have for the Dr. Geyer and he has agreed to discuss the answers with us on Friday.

Aidan had a surprise visit today from Terry & Shannon of Waste Management in Kennewick.  They presented both Aidan & Sage with some highly detailed and extremely nice garbage trucks.  Aidan and Sage were quite pleased and are playing with them as I am writing this posting.  I would give you a picture, but Tanya & Mike’s dilemma with electronics continues.  They have some real great pictures in their camera, but they cannot find the cord so the photos cannot be downloaded.  We will take care of that problem this weekend and get some photos of the boys and their trucks up on the blog.  In addition to the trucks, Aidan was given a couple of get well cards. One contained quite a few comments from other Waste Management employees, and one contained a very moving prayer.  This was a very nice gesture and the folks at Waste Management deserve many heartfelt thanks.

The fine folks at Columbia Classics Car Club have agreed to have some classic cars at the July 23rd End of Radiation Party.  In addition, the club presented Tanya and Mike with a donation of approximately $200.  The money was raised by having a “split the pot” at there regularly scheduled meeting.  The winner donated her share and the club also agreed to donate its share.  Tanya & Mike were extremely grateful for the donation, and are pleased to hear that the club agreed to have some cars at the July 23rd event.

Lori Chin has sent an email to all of Aidan's Angles requesting volunteers for both the End of Radiation Party on July 23rd, and the Aidan’s Miracle – Charity Golf Scrambler on August 11th.  If you are able to help, simply email us at HelpAidan@WhyNotAidan.com.  As always, your help will be appreciated more then you can imagine.  Aidan has not made it this far without your help, and his conitnued progress is dependant upon your continued support and prayers.
