Well Tanya’s recovery was very short lived.  It appeared she was improving, but instead she worsened, both of the boys took ill, and Cath started showing symptoms also.  The timing couldn’t have been worse because there was no way the return to Seattle could be delayed any longer due to Aidan’s a doctor’s appointment on Friday.  Not the best of circumstances, but given no choice, Mike and I loaded up the sickies and made our way west.

Cath & I took the boys in the van with us, and Mike and Tanya took the Passat (loaner vehicle from University Volkswagen).  The trip over was kind of rough because it never is any fun when you do not feel well, and two thirds of those traveling were definitely having a tough time.  Tanya & Aidan seemed to have the worst of it, but if Aidan has proved anything throughout this whole ordeal, he has proven he is truly a trouper.  Except for a small episode at Indian John Hill, and except for going through tons of Kleenex (he won’t use one more then once), he traveled very well indeed.
