Seattle Day 73
Tuesday
July 18, 2006
Today was a day of still recovering from being sick for over a week. It is amazing how things can pile up when you are incapacitated. Like I have said before, "no matter what is going on, there is always laundry to do, dishes to wash, and rooms to clean." All those things were what today was about. Needless to say, the boys were less than thrilled about the days plans. They of course, did very little of the dirty work and more of the lounging part. The watched some movies, played some games, and read some books. A parents dream day, a child's worst nightmare.
I have to admit, I was also not looking forward to the days plans, however I knew that we needed to get these things done if we were going to be trying to go home this weekend for the End of Radiation Party. We are all very excited to see all of our family and friends. It has literally been months since we have been able to see everyone except for our immediate family. We have told Aidan about all the fun that is planned and all the people that will be there to wish him well and congratulate him on a job well done. I just can't wait to see all of my dear friends so I can put my arms around them and thank them. We truly would be lost if it wasn't for each of you who keep Aidan and our family in your constant thoughts and prayers. We hope to see you all out there on Sunday!
Love,
Tanya
Also, PLEASE, if you can help my mom in any way on Sunday during the party it would be greatly appreciated. She is quite stressed and in need of some back up. Thank you in advance.
