After a late night last night we all got up and going in a fairly quick manner. Mike surprised us and made reservations at the Maltby Cafe. It is this little, tiny, amazing restaurant that Mike and I love to go to about 20 minutes from here. Mom and Dad had never been there and we told them that they were in for quite a treat. Breakfast is their specialty and it is outstanding. Home bread, biscuits, hash browns, and cinnamon rolls that are as large as a dinner plate.
When we arrived we had a bit of a wait before we could be seated so we wandered around a few of the little shops that are nearby. Mom and I found this little shop that was a girls dream. Every thing was shiny, or sparkley, or had feathers. It was a lot of fun in there. The best part was the darling baby things they had. If I was to have another baby I would shop in there. Not only was every thing cute buy it was all so soft and cuddly.
Finally it was time to sit down and order. To start us off Mike ordered a cinnamon roll for us all to share. The parents could not believe it. Not only is it huge but it taste amazing. Soon we all ordered and as promised, the meals were amazing.
After enjoying our meals we all hopped in the van to head back to the room. Once here the guys turned the TV to the Seafair races. It was fun because we turned it on at the start of the Blue Angels and not only could we see and hear them on the TV but we could also hear them out of our window. Aidan thought that was really cool. He kept saying, "Mama, do you hear my Blue Angels?"
After relaxing for a bit it was time for Mom and Dad to head back home to the Tri-Cities. With them on the road it was now time for me to try and get some order back to the room and to get some much needed laundry done. Mike helped out by making dinner and getting snacks for all of us while we watched a movie. Now the boys are all snuggled up in bed with their Daddy and they are about to be joined by their Mama.
