Today we received news that a 17 year old  friend of Thomas's (neighbor across the hall) has just found out that he has colon cancer.  Thomas and Kaz have been friends since kindergarten so the news hits hard.  Kaz and his mom will be flying in tomorrow to start the whirlwind that will become their new life.  Please offer prayers for Kaz and his mom Candy who is also ill with MS.
Today we ran out to Costco to order a cake for Aidan's party here at RMH on the 18th.  He chose white cake with strawberry filling.  Not his usual chocolate since he can no longer eat it without it upsetting his tummy.  The boys never do love errand days but they manage.  We are just lucky to have such good kids who complain very little considering what their dad and I put them through.
