Aidan had his MRI on Thursday and again we are still not sure where Aidan’s tumor stands.  We were given a preliminary report written by a resident that had us a little nervous.  It stated the tumor is stable, that was good news.  Even though our wish is to have the tumor decreased in size, stable is good.  But then went into language like: foci of abnormal nodular enhancement, new since prior MRI.  This sent chills down our spine, but Dr. Geyer assured us that this was a preliminary report, and that they used a brand new machine that sees more and that the abnormal nodes may have been there all along, he also reassured us that they look for symptoms and Aidan is not showing any from before, consistently, only when he is really tired does he show any symptoms.

Aidan had a busy weekend; he watched the “Cars” movie and also “Monkey’s Uncle.”  Lately, Tators really likes the movies that have Chimpanzees in them.  Tanya, Sage, Aidan and I went shopping Saturday.  I purchased a recorder hoping to capture some of his stories: than I can put a few on the blog to share.  Aidan is such a shopper, we went to the mall and he talked his mom into a new warm-up outfit in red of course.  Sage got a winter coat, just in time for the cold wind we are having today.  Aidan just got new shoes this week (gray and red) and he can run really fast, so we have to chase and try and capture him, but of course he is much to fast for us.

The boys spent the night Saturday and woke up really early Sunday.  Sage immediately got on the computer to play “Toontown” and Aidan and I made hot cereal for breakfast.  He wanted strawberry oatmeal, but we made 9-grain hot cereal, so I put strawberry flavoring on his cereal that is meant for milk, it worked; he ate it!

When his  Mom and Dad came over he wanted his new warm-ups to wear of course, and he looked good in them.  Another weekend of fun and love!

Please keep praying for all the other children and families affected with this disease and also for the researchers who are researching a cure for this ugly monster BSG and also for the medical staff treating this fiend.
