MRI Results - October 20,2007

  Aidan’s Angels,

Thank you for your prayers leading up to Aidan’s MRI on Friday afternoon.  The results were very encouraging with another MRI in the books showing the tumor as stable and unchanged.

While we would very much like this tumor to be totally gone, we understand that
this continuing series of stable MRI’s is a very good thing and something we are very grateful to our God for providing.  Aidan continues to do very well and is totally symptom free.  He is constantly in good spirits, displays an unbelievable charm, and has a sense of humor you wouldn’t expect from a 6 year-old.  As you can imagine, we are all very thankful for every day we have with him, and we remain confident there will be many more days to come.

Forever grateful to all of you for your prayers and support,

Aidan’s Family

    Hello Mike and Tanya

My daughter Jacqueline as you know also has a Diffused Pontine Intristic Brainstem Glioma which was been classified as high grade. Might I ask about when Aidan was first diagnosed? Was his Gloima considered high or low grade? Another question is about the Iressa. My friend Randy Hinton told me that Aidan is no longer on it. Is this true?

Jacque is not doing well. We have stopped the antineoplastins for now at least until she gains her strength.

    Love to all your family.

That is great news regarding the MRI, my 8 year old son Matthew was on the same study of Iressa. My hope is that this drug is part of the reason why Aidan's tumor is stable. Although it was able to save my Matthew, I pray that the doctors and researchers find a cure for this tumor so that no other child and their family have to endure this journey. I am glad that Aidan is going to be a big part of the cure. Please know we pray every night for Aidan and his family. Thank you so much for sharing Aidan's journey as well as continuing to check on the other children and their families.

    God Bless.
