Some Special Friends - December 16, 2007

It is amazing how some of the simplest things in our lives turn into special memories, and Aidan just seems to have a way of creating these special moments more frequently then the rest of us.  Well Sunday another simple task turned into another special day.

Aidan’s Daddy Mike had taken the Zaugg family pup Lucy into the Kennewick PetSmart to have a much needed grooming.  The conversation turned into an explanation as to the reason it has been so long since Lucy had been in for grooming.  The store employees were obviously moved by what they had been told, and when Lucy was picked up she was sporting a brand new sweater and Mike was given a way cool Dog-Opoly board game that the groomers wanted Aidan to have.

This generosity and concern for Aidan could not go unrecognized.  Mike returned home, fetched up an arm full of “Aidan’s Guardian Angel” T-shirts, grabbed Tanya and Aidan and headed back to PetSmart.  Mike introduced Aidan to the groomers and then provided each a T-shirt which would designate them as official Aidan’s Angels.  To show his appreciation for their compassion and concern, and to mock Lucy’s new found look, Aidan used his charm and served up a very special rendition of the Naked Mole Rat song and dance.  The moment was touching and will now certainly be locked in the memories of all those that were blessed in the moment.

Thanks to our new Special Friends and Thanks to PetSmart for bringing this wonderful group together,

Glad to see that all is well with you guys. It is so wonderful to see how kind people are when we all hear about so much bad. We have the same experiences still sometimes when people see Kayla and we are so blessed by that too. Alright, well have a blessed Christmas.
