Latest MRI Results - April 9, 2008
Aidan’s Angels,
Last Friday Aidan and the clan made their regular trek across the mountains so that Aidan could get his two year MRI. Of course there was the normal bit of apprehension as the time of the MRI approached, but we said our prayers and left it in our Gods hands to deliver the continuance of Aidan’s miracle.
While the results were not as definitive as we would have liked, the Doctors indicated that the tumor is still classified as stable and noted no significant differences from the prior scans. We thank God for these results and we will stay pray that the next scan is more exacting. Although we may have left with some questions, there is no doubt that the Doctors considered the news very good and are very impressed with Aidan’s progress. In fact, we were told that the Doctors have seen children at the two year mark, but none have made it that far without some issues, and for Aidan they could not find anything that concerned them.
One quick note... Aidan and his family were accompanied by Laura who is a reporter for the local newspaper (Tri-City Herald) and also by Paul who is one of their photographers. They joined us so that they could do a story on Aidan’s two year anniversary in next Sundays Herald. As you all know, Aidan’s story is very compelling and it really should be quite an article. Be looking for it in your paper on Sunday.
