Quick Update - May 8, 2008

Hello to all,

What a crazy and exciting time in our lives.  On April 14th we celebrated Aidan’s two year anniversary with his Nannie, Papa, Sage, Daddy, Mama and of course Aidan.  We just had a quiet dinner and took the time to reflect on the past two years and the joy we felt at hitting the two year mark.  Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to wish Aidan a happy two year anniversary.  We feel truly blessed to have so many who pray for Aidan and our family.  The strength we receive from each of you is what helps us to continue the fight each and every day.

Since the anniversary we have been very busy.  Sage is in baseball right now which takes up six days of the week.  We have practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and then games on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  Then, Aidan is in acting class twice a week on Monday and Wednesday.  To add some more to the craziness I have been having doctor’s appointments twice a week to monitor the baby.  It seems that he is very small for his age so the docs are keeping a close eye on him.  Oh yeah, we found out that our precious little girl is actually a precious little boy!  Talk about a big surprise.

On the whole we feel incredibly blessed each day.  Our Lord continues to have a plan for Aidan and our family and we are grateful for everyday that we awake to the sun rising and being together.

Please continue your prayers for our beautiful boys and for all the children who are in the midst of battle with DIPG.  They are truly the bravest of souls.  I believe that there is cure that is just waiting to be found that will save all of these children and their families.  Pray for a cure.

With love always,

Tanya
